Now a highly anticipated tradition, students from Finger Lakes Community College’s Sound/Live Recording class made their bi-annual field trip to Cheshire for an immersive look at the live events industry.
For many aspiring sound engineers, the wide range of career paths within live events often comes as a revelation. These visits offer students not only hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technology but also a chance to connect directly with Cheshire’s experienced production team.
Throughout the evening, students explored state-of-the-art equipment, gained valuable industry insights, and even tested their skills on an LED video wall—repurposed for some friendly video game competition.
